P/C edges Vikings in Six Rivers test

Reid Weber drove in four runs on two hits to lead Potosi/Cassville past Pecatonica 7-3 in Six Rivers baseball action Friday.

Weber doubled in the first inning, scoring three runs, and tripled in the third inning, scoring one.

Kolton Vogelsberg earned the win for Potosi/Cassville. He allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three.

Austin Enloe took the loss for Pecatonica. The starting pitcher went four innings, giving up seven runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking none. Cooper Schraepfer got in some relief work.

Weber appeared in relief for Potosi/Cassville.

The Chieftains tallied 11 hits in the game. Vogelsberg went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Chieftains in hits.

Rausch added two hits for Potosi/Cassville.

Reid Schlimgen went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in a run. Schlimgen and Ashton McNett each contributed two hits for Pecatonica. Both had a double.

Luke Leonard, Kashton Gross and Marty Anderson had the rest of the hits for the Vikings.
