Argyle/Black Hawk did not allow Pecatonica to push across a run and beat the Vikings 12-0 in Six Rivers softball action Tuesday.
ABH opened their scoring in the second when Brynne Harris singed in a run, Macy Harris walked to plate another, Brianna Wilhelmson doubled in two runs and Sam Kammes knocked in two more.
ABH scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning. Wilhelmson singled for one run, an error scored another and Kylie Butler tripled, scoring three more.
Jenna Kurschner started in the circle for the Vikings. She gave up seven hits and 10 runs (nine earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking four.
Leaha Doescher, the number seven hitter for the Vikings led with two hits in two at bats.
ABH had 10 hits in the game. Butler, Harris, Lexi Wonders, and Wilhelmson each collected two hits for Argyle and Butler and Wilhelmson each drove in three runs.
Brooklyn Johnsrud, Katelynne Jorenby and Lila Schlimgen all had hits for the Vikings.
Sam Hittesdorf performed relief duties for the Vikings.
