Wisconsin Heights put up seven runs in the first four innings Friday forcing Pecatonica to play catch-up in their non-conference baseball game.
The Vikings scored two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh but had to settle for a 7-4 loss to the Vanguards.
The Vikings grabbed an early lead with a run in the first. Marty Anderson led off getting nicked by a pitch and scored on a double by Reid Schlimgen.
Michael Hendrickson and Anderson singled in the sixth and scored on a pair of bases loaded walks.
Reed Cassidy reached on a fielders choice and scored on an rbi single from Austin Enloe.
Enloe was 2×5 and Hendrickson 2×2 for the Vikings. Anderson, Schlimgen, Cooper Schraepfer and Luke Leonard all had one hit.
Schlimgen and Schraepfer both took a turn on the mound. Schlimgen went four innings, giving up seven runs (four earned), and six hits with five walks and nine strikeouts.
Schraepfer went two with one hit and one walk.
