Betty Hayes Baxter, a definite “icon” to the area turned 96 recently with a party held at her Avoca home.
Miss Betty has taught dance in the area for years. She began teaching dance at the age of 17. She holds the “Guiness Book of World Records” title of longevity of teaching dance.
