Brooklyn and Ashlyn Stokes combined on a five hitter to hand Dodgeville a 7-3 loss in a SWC softball game Tuesday.
Brooklyn went four innings, tossing four hit ball with a walk, a strike out and two runs, none earned.
Ashlyn gave up one earned run, on hit with one walk and one strikeout.
Ella Hillebrand homered and drove in two runs for the Blackhawks. Bella DeViney, Brooklyn Stokes and Ella Prochaska all had doubles.
Stokes and DeViney had two hits each. Also adding hits were McClain Willey and Alyssa Nachreiner.
The Dodgers got hits from Addison Reilly, Emma Dougherty, Skylar Quinn, Kendra Blum and Tia Crubaugh. Dougherty’s went for a home run.
Mikayla Lathrop went the distance for Dodgeville. She gave up eight hits, walked one and struck out four.
Prochaska, DeViney and Hillebrand all had two rbis for the Hawks.
Dougherty and Crubaugh had an rbi each for the Dodgers.
