River Valley scored a pair of runs in the fourth and went on to trump Prairie du Chien 2-1 in SWC play Tuesday.
Keagan Heiser and Quincy Blakley combined for the mound win. Heiser went the first four, gave up all three Prairie hits, an unearned run and struck out one. Blakley completed the last three frames, striking out four.
Kaden Plumley had two hits for the Hawks while Blakley, Drew Riedel and Uriah S had one.
The two fourth inning tallies came on a hit by Riedel and a walk to Owen Jones.
Prairie pushed across a run in the bottom of the fourth but the Hawks closed the door the rest of the way.
