The Linden Masonic Lodge 206 , 618 Main Street, Linden will hold their monthly breakfast, Sunday, April 26, 2026, serving from 8:00 until noon. Come enjoy a great breakfast, with the BEST pancakes around! Menu: All you can eat pancakes, your choice of eggs, sausage patty, coffee or milk. Dine in or Carry Out. This breakfast will benefit the Girl Scouts, Troop 7624. Be sure to come out to enjoy a great breakfast and support a great cause! On Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the 10:30 a.m. worship services at the Linden United Methodist Church the Confirmation Class will be reciting their verses and receiving their bibles. The Sunday school will be singing and it will the last day of Sunday school until the Fall.
Linden First Responder Spaghetti Supper, Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. Please use the front doors of the Village Hall 444 Jefferson Street, Linden. for dine in or carry out. Enjoy a delicious spaghetti supper which includes garlic bread, dessert and drink. $10.00. Come support the Linden First Responders. Our sincere condolences to Jack and Pat Vial in the loss of Jack’s sister, Mary Grace Murphy of Oconto, WI. She was born on May 27, 1955 in Dodgeville to Robert (Bob) and Maxine Vial. Mary Grace passed away on February 16, 2026. She grew up in rural Cobb and was a graduate of Iowa-Grant High School. Her sister, Jeanne Luebke lives in Waconia, MN. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Oconto Gospel Chapel.
Rosemarie Lenz, age 84 of Dodgeville passed away on April 11, 2026. She married Martin Lenz, Jr in August, 1963. She and Martin raised there three children on their rural Linden farm and Rosemarie was a devoted farm wife for 62 years. Visitation and services were held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Lulloff- Peterson-Houck Funeral in Dodgeville with burial in the Eastside Cemetery, Dodgeville. Our sincere condolences to Rosemarie’s family and friends.
Jeanne Christopher is taking any donations for her garage sale in Rewey on May 6-9. She continues to use all the profits to spay and neuter cats and kittens. This fundraiser is something that Jeanne has been doing for the past few years. Please consider monetary donations or items. She does not “Accept” clothing. Furniture, books, dishes, etc. only.
