Terry L. Mindham

Terry L. Mindham, age 83 of Dodgeville, passed away on April 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Terry was born July 14, 1942, in Berwyn, IL, to Norman and Helene Mindham. When Terry was about a year old, the family relocated to the Dolphin Family Farm south of Cobb, WI. In 1960, he graduated from Cobb High School, and continued farming on the family farm. In 1962, Terry met the love of his life, Connie Bennett, and the pair married on February 1, 1963. In 1977, Terry and Connie purchased their own farm, and after a few years began his own landscaping business.

Terry was a jack-of-all-trades with a very strong work ethic which was also instilled in his children. Terry farmed in multiple places throughout the years with the family. He also took on work as a service station manager and was quite a talented landscaper. His skills were not only utilized outdoors, but also in the homes he physically and meticulously planned and built for his family from trees and logs forged on the properties.

When not working, Terry liked to hunt almost anything with his family. He enjoyed deer hunting in Grant and Crawford counties, hunting trips to Minnesota for bear and to Canada for moose. He also took an interest in hunting for ginseng and learning all he could about the herb and its natural properties, as well as hunting for morel mushrooms. His grandchildren took an interest in aiding him on these hunts, and Terry loved spending time with them. Terry also enjoyed tapping maple trees at the family farm for maple syrup.

Terry will be remembered for almost never sitting down and relaxing, rather he’d always be working on something or learning a new skill and spending time and sharing his knowledge with his family.

Terry was preceded in death by his great-grandson Hudson Behney; parents; brother Scott Mindham; fatherand mother-in-law William and Marie Bennett; sisters-in-law: Debbie Bennett and Cindie Butteris; brothers-in-law Bill Bennett, Joseph Crook and Kenton Johnson; and sonin-law Edward Pack, III.
