The election held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 re-elected Village Board members Larry D. Schultz, John Trace and Stephen Troester. They join other board members Jason Cartwright, Dennis Rickard, and Doug Rider. Village President is Robert Spurley and Village Clerk is Sue Lindner.

The Village of Linden "Clean-Up" day will be held this Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Village of Linden Shop. Entry is on Elizabeth Street. There may be a charge for some items. For any questions, please contact the Village office at 608-623-2800.

The Iowa-Grant FFA is hosting the 1st annual Seeds and Suppers Fundraiser. They are sponsoring a Drivethrough Pickup meal on Saturday, April 18 starting at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. or when sold out at the Iowa- Grant High School! Join the FFA Chapter as they support local farm families this planting season by providing a hearty take-home mealmade to feed the whole crew! Menu: Pulled pork, pasta salad, cheesy potatoes, brownie with a beverage or water. Support the local agriculture and our FFA members. Please note that the food is not prepared in an allergen free environment. (May come in contact with allergens such as wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, etc.) $10.00 per meal. Everyone is welcome!

Linden First Responder Spaghetti Supper, Wednesday, April 29 from 5- 7 p.m. Please use the front doors of the Village Hall 444 Jefferson Street, Linden. for dine in or carry out. Enjoy a delicious spaghetti supper which includes garlic bread, dessert and drink. Come support the Linden First Responders. Be sure to attend in support of the Linden First Responders, as they serve the people of the Village of Linden and the Township of Linden 24/7, 365 days a year. Spread the Word! A "Shout-Out" to my great-grandson, Treaton Loeffelholz of Livingston who recently was honored in the Platteville Journal as "Teen of the Week" for Iowa-Grant High School. Treaton is involved with various school activities: LEO Club, football, basketball and baseball. Honors: Academic honors and high honors, All- SWAL football and basketball awards. Activities outside of school: Treaton works part-time at the Friendly Place in Livingston. He enjoys hunting, fishing, lifting, camping and boating as his hobbies. Treaton’s future plans is to do an apprenticeship to become an electrician. Treaton is the son of Patrick and Brittany Loeffelholz and grandparents are Tim and Kristi Loeffelholz and Kevin and Carolyn Butteris. Congratulations to Treaton, we are all so very "Proud" of you!

On Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the 10:30 a.m. worship services at the Linden United Methodist Church the Confirmation Class will be reciting their verses and receiving their bibles. The Sunday school will be singing and it will the last day of Sunday school until the Fall.

Reminder to those that are doing your Spring yard clean up, the Village of Linden Brush Pick-Up is the first Monday of each month, April- November. Limbs should be no longer than 6 feet in length.
