There are a number of folks that have been helping inform the public about the industrial wind turbine projects in our area. This Saturday is another opportunity to learn more about these projects and the effects it will have on the Driftless area.
All are welcome to attend a Community Conversation hosted by the Township of Mineral Point, 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point.
I encourage everyone to attend this meeting where you can gather information, listen to guest speakers, Tom Tiffany (Candidate for Governor) and Travis Tranel (State Representative). Senator Marklein and Governor Evers were invited but have declined.
If you care about your community, please attend. There will be information available along with a map of the Uplands Wind East project and yard signs available.
Everyone needs voice their opinion to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. We can make a difference. Please join us Saturday evening in Mineral Point.
