A community blood drive to benefit a senior scholarship initiative will be held on Friday, April 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at St. Marys St. Paul Catholic Church in Mineral Point.
Sponsored by the Key Club, the event is part of an effort to secure a $1,000 scholarship for graduating seniors. Organizers are encouraging community members to donate blood and help reach the participation goal needed to earn the scholarship funds.
Donors are asked to enter through the Pine Street entrance when they arrive. Community support is essential to the success of the drive, and each donation brings the group closer to achieving its goal.
