A seven run sixth tipped the scales in River Ridge’s favor and eased them past Highland 13-12 in a Six Rivers game Tuesday.
The Cardinals led 11-6 before River Ridge rallied.
Sumaryn Halverson pitched for the Cardinals and struck out five. She also hadone of their 17 hits.
Ava Michek was 4×5, Brinleight Bollant 3×3, Cora Healy-Dougherty 3×4 and Celia Oleson 2×4.
Rounding out the hits were Halverson and Marissa Biba.
"This was a tough one," Highland coach Tim Kosharek said.
