MADISON – Representative Todd Novak (R-Dodgeville) is pleased to announce Olivia Camacho (Darlington) as a new intern in his legislative office in Madison for the Spring of 2026. Olivia will be working in the office on constituent services, scheduling, and learning the legislative process.

“I am excited to welcome Olivia to my office as an intern,” said Novak. “She will be a great addition to my office and I look forward to working with her. I am confident that my office will provide her with a supportive environment to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.”

Olivia is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science with a certificate in sports communications. She will begin studying law at Marquette University this Fall in pursuit of a juris doctorate.

Olivia is the daughter of Tammy Fitzsimons of Dodgeville and Diego Camacho III of Darlington. Tammy currently works in accounting for the Iowa County Highway Department and Diego is employed at F&K Tire Service in Darlington. Olivia graduated from Darlington High School in 2023.

“During her time in my office at the Capitol, Olivia will have the opportunity to gain hands on legislative experience, develop meaningful connections with legislative professionals, and contribute to the success of my office,” said Novak.
