Garage sales will pop up throughout the city April 9 to 11 as part of the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce’s spring tradition.
Some churches hold rummage sales in conjunction with the event, which usually hosts up to 50 garage sales.
People come from out of town to join locals in driving through the city to look for bargains and kick off garage sale season.
Residents who would like their sale included on the official map can register by April 1 for a fee of $20. Registration forms are available at www.mineralpoint.com or by contacting the Chamber at 608-987- 3201 or info@mineralpoint.com
Maps will be available beginning April 7 at local gas stations. Sale dates and times may vary by location and will be listed on the official map.
