The MadHatters are a premier men’s a cappella group of University of Wisconsin-Madison. Their trademark is wearing red jackets and they are based in Madison and travel all around performing great songs. It was an enjoyable evening listening to both groups perform in the beautiful Mineral Point Opera House. The Opera House is certainly a Mineral Point gem.

The Southwest Wisconsin Cornish Society St. Piran’s Day lunch and program held at the Walker House in Mineral Point on Sunday was well attended. The meal of Cornish pasty, saffron and Figgyhobbin was delicious and Kathy and her crew did a wonderful job in serving. Janet Miller and Ulrich Sieloff gave a great presentation on The Transformation of the Cornish Heritage Park. When all completed this will be a beautiful park for everyone to enjoy. It is located on High Street above the Mineral Point Opera House.
