Kay Ann Messling (Groom), age 78, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, after a courageous 2½ year battle with leukemia. True to form, she stubbornly did things her own way—holding strong for years and then, unexpectedly, leaving this world just days after beginning hospice care. While her passing was swift, the love she leaves behind is anything but.
