Five retire from Iowa County Board

Retiring County Board Supervisors were recognized for their service at the March board meeting. From left to right are: Daniel Nankee, Justin O'Brien, Darrell Kreul and Curt Peterson. Not shown is Michael Peterson. Also recognized was Douglas Richter, District 1 Supervisor who retired midterm. County Administrator Clinton Langreck commented about the retirees: “I’ve had the privilege of working with our departing supervisors for only a few months, but in that short time, I have seen the lasting contributions they have made to our communities. As Chairman Meyers noted so well, they will be hard to replace. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming our incoming supervisors and harnessing their strengths as we carry on the important work of county government.” “To our departing members, and to their supporting loved ones—thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your impact.”
