Geer, Boyd W.

Boyd W. Geer, age 94, of Dodgeville, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home. Boyd was born in Norwich, Connecticut to Clarance Gallup Geer and Helen Boyd Wetmore. He grew up near by on the family dairy farm in Lebanon. He attended Lebanon High School and then Drury College in Springfield, Missouri, graduating in 1952. Boyd then served in the US Air Force; he was stationed in Japan. Upon returning, he married his college sweetheart, Marcia Jean Kinder on February 2, 1957. They relocated to Wisconsin, first in Taylorville, then Beaver Dam, and eventually settled in Madison, where they raised their three children.
