Social Justice Rally held at Iowa County Courthouse

A local informational and educational event as to what people can do to protect civil liberties in our communities was held last Thursday outside of the Iowa County Courthouse in Dodgeville. The “Social Justice” rally was attended by over 50 people on the cold day. A welcome by Helen Avakian, Mineral Point, followed by a song by her kicked off the event. Speeches were given by Tom Broman, chair of the Iowa County Democrats, Myra Enloe, of Indivisible Southwest, and former Iowa County Sheriff Steve Michek. This was the first of many rallies to be held about social justice.
