Cupcakes aid Highland VFW/Legion

The Highland Cupcake Girls recently held a fundraiser to benefit the Highland VFW and Legion Post #422. The girls decorated over 600 cupcakes and raised $1,600 for the organizations. This fundraiser would not have been as successful without the help of Thrivent and Kwik Trip, for grants to cover cost of ingredients, Becky Stanek, Jean Pierick, Sue Welsh, and Jen Biba for assisting, the Highland Community for their wonderful support, and our veterans, who made sacrifices for our freedom.
