Richard "Rick" Smelzer, age 68 of Highland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Rick was born on July 12, 1956, to Lauren and Ione (Yanna) Smelzer, the first born of the family. He graduated from Highland High School in 1974.
