Redbirds end Panther run in Regional final

Iowa-Grant’s boys basketball team would like nothing better than to upset one of the state’s best at Darlington in Saturday’s D4 Regional final.

But the Redbirds had other ideas

Darlington climbed to a 43-16 halftime advantage and finished off the Panthers 75-42, ending a very successful season for Iowa-Grant.

Sam Lundell was able to crack the stingy Redbird defense for nine points and Treaton Loeffelholz took top scoring honors for the Panthers with 11.

Zeke Zuberbuhler led all scorers with 20 for the Redbirds.
