It was a great night and venue for basketball

Dodgeville High School was proud to once again host a neutral site sectional-level basketball game on Thursday night. It was a record-setting evening as Dodgeville welcomed fans for an exciting girls basketball sectional semifinal matchup between Argyle/Pecatonica and Barneveld.

“We love having the ability to host these games right here in our amazing spaces,” said Dodgeville High School Principal and Athletic Director Joey Martin. “The upper-level bleacher access along with the walking track gives people a great place to stand, lean, and watch the game. It really makes the experience comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.”

Martin reported that 1,380 tickets were sold for the event, making it the highest-attended major event Dodgeville High School has hosted.

“It was a record-setting night for us,” Martin said. “We love being able to do this for area teams, and helping create an amazing event is something we take a lot of pride in.”
