It sickened me

Dear Editor, 

Last Saturday, my husband and I attended one of the area rallies held in protest of some of our government's actions. A car pulled up in front of us and the passenger told us that he liked Trump.  The driver then said, "Yeah, because I hate -----" and he named a specific nationality of people.  I will not fill in the name of the nationality, because it sickened me when I heard that statement.  I can't even bring myself to repeat it.  

Then it occurred to me - the president of our country is promoting this attitude. He is promoting bigotry, hatred, violence and lying. And these two young males showed that very clearly.

Would you accept this behavior in a friend or relative?  I think not.  God help us!

On a side note to Sen. Ron Johnson -  WHAT THE HECK?!  How dare you block the Major Richard Star Act from a Senate vote. Shame on you!
