Panthers take a pair on non-conference wins

Iowa-Grant’s boys basketball team picked up a pair of wins over some strong non-conference opponents to start the week.

The Panthers took down Six Rivers power River Ridge in a 61-56 nailbiter Monday.  Sam Lundell led the Panthers with 18 points followed by Everett Zimmer and Grant Rickard with 11 and 10.

Tuesday the Panthers handled Ridge and Valley power Ithaca 68-49.

Zimmer took scoring honors with 17 with Rickard netting 15 and Lundell 11.

The win gives the Panthers a 9-5 record.  They head to Boscobel tonight for a SWAL match-up.
