Butler reaches 2000th point in win over Black Hawk

Argyle/Pecatonica senior guard Kylie Butler scored 36 points to lead her team to a 79-22 win over Black Hawk in a Six Rivers East game Tuseday.

But two of those points were bigger  and more memorable then the rest.  Those were the two that got her 2000 for her career.

“It was a big night for Kylie and Argyle/Pecatonica basketball,: said coach Jen Wellnitz-Krogman.

With the Lady Warriors without their top player Maddy Place the game was a virtual mismatch.  Coach Wellnitz-Krogman took out Butler and Brooke Wellnitz with 12 minutes left in the game.

“They had to play a couple freshmen without Maddy there,” Wellnitz-Krogman said.  “We were able to spread out the playing time.”

Wellnitz added 16 to the A/P total.

Mya Milz totaled 17 for Black Hawk which were all but five of their total points/
