Strong second half keys Redbirds win
Zeke Zuberbuhler poured in 20 points and Broker Buscher continues his recovery with 15 to lead Darlington over Iowa-Grant 63-42 in a SWAL boys game Friday.
The Redbirds led by four at halftime, 25-21 then went on a roll for a 38-21 second half. Both leading scorers put in 11 points the second half.
The Redbirds remain in the SWAL’s top spot.
Everett Zimmer led the Panthers with 14 points and Treaton Loeffelholz was right behind with 13.
“Darlington is a very good team with a lot of weapons,” I-G coach Shawn Dailey said. “They shoot the ball very well.”
