Francis, Ella Maryann

LIVINGSTON – Our precious Ella Maryann Francis, age 3 months, of Livingston was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 20, 2025, in the loving arms of her parents at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was further surrounded by her loving family.

Ella was born on August 21, 2025, at Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville to Kali (Kohout) and Kyle Francis.

Although her time on earth was short, she brought such joy to her parents, brother Easton (4), dog Remi, grandparents, aunt, and uncles. She loved her nightly bath time, babbling stories, and watching TV with her great grandpa Frank. She was a happy baby sharing her smile and big, beautiful eyes to everyone around her.

Ella will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Kali and Kyle, brother Easton. Grandparents Anita and Kenneth Kohout of Montfort, Robin and Paul Pitzer of Livingston, Great Grandpa Frank Francis of Livingston, Great Grandma Mary Wright of Delhi, IA, Great Grandparents Ann and Nick Pitzer of Potosi, aunts and uncles Kami and Isaac Doan of Fennimore, Zackary Pitzer (Winnie Hermansen) of Baraboo, Joshua Pitzer of Livingston, and cousins Raelynn, Jovie, Harper, and Waylon Doan.

Ella was preceded in death by her great grandparents Mary Kay and Paul Barth, Mary and John Kohout, Karen Francis, Gerald Wright, and great great grandparents Theresa and John Mathews.

A big thank you to the doctors, surgeons, and nurses at Upland Hills Hospital, SSM Health/St. Mary’s Hospital, and American Family Children’s Hospital for their wonderful care given to Ella, it is so much appreciated during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon December 27, 2025, at St. John Nepomuc Catholic Church, Castle Rock Ridge Township Grant County, Wisconsin. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church on Saturday morning.
