Council hears updates on UHH Campus, EMS funding challenges and Street Planning efforts

In Public Comment, Chester Small was asking about the new Upland Hills Health campus project, that being a senior living facility and the grant UHH just received for $2 million.  He asked what involvement the city would have in annexing the land and roads, sewer, and water lines.  Mayor Hottmann replied that the UHH project has begun as they have already purchased the land and that the annexation is already complete, and that UHH will be attending a design review meeting next Tuesday to discuss. 

Cars and Coffee, the car event held on the second Saturday for six months last year on West Merrimac Street, will be having a new name soon and the event will now be on the second Thursday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to dusk...
