Kalish, Gerald Lee "Gerry"

DODGEVILLE – Gerald Lee "Gerry" Kalish, age 73, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 peacefully at home.

Gerry was born on September 13, 1952, in Dodgeville, WI. He attended lowa Grant High School and spent much of his life rooted in the community he called home.

Gerry enjoyed the simple things-especially fishing, hunting, and sports. He was known as a steady, hardworking man who took pride in his work and the life he built for his family. Over the years, he was employed by Collins and Hying Plumbing and later worked as a custodian for the Dodgeville School District.

Gerry is survived by his wife, Donna (Granville) Kalish; his sons Brandon and Josh (Tiffanie); granddaughters Teegan and Tatum; brother David (Sharon) and sister-in-law Bonnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jean and Virgil, and brother Greg.

Gerry will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his dedication to his work, and the quiet strength he brought to the lives of those who knew him.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
