The right to peacefully protest

To my fellow American:

This is an open letter to the gentleman in the black pickup truck who, last Saturday morning, repeatedly drove by the protesters in front of the Iowa County courthouse gunning his engine.  Yelling "terms of endearment" and indicating his mental acuity with a raised digit.  

This protest is for you and every American. It is an effort to ensure that you have the right to peacefully protest, too, and can enjoy the life America has given you.
