A Turning Point

Dear Editor,

Cardinal Timothy Dolan on Charlie Kirk (source-Fox and Friends appearance) stated all of a sudden he had an overwhelming sense of sorrow after Charlie’s death.  “And I thought I gotta learn about this guy."  (He later said he spent a week learning about Charlie. No quick echo chamber Google search like so many ignorant haters).  "And the more I learned about him I thought this guy’s a modern day Saint Paul.  He was a missionary, he’s an evangelist, he’s a hero.  He’s one that knew what Jesus meant when he said the truth will set you free.” The Catholic Church is looking good to this sinner who used to think I would never be Catholic.  Charlie is inspiring a multitude of people to seek God.  That does not happen with evil.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated for simply asking for honest debate and giving his views with directness but straight forward compassion. He was assassinated by evil that wanted no debate.  Democrats have been laying the ground work for violence for decades with stuff like “words are violence”, Nazi, fascist. Democrats have been calling Republicans Nazis since before Reagan. Every election I think to myself how many Dems will call us Nazis this time?

There is growing conflict between being Democrat and Christian.  The Democrat Party has a cancer of hate.  Hate is based on ignorance.  All the hate that spewed from Democrats on Bluesky and over social media against Charlie indicates there is a massive issue with hate inside the party.

Charlie’s assassination is a turning point.  Turning the other cheek is reaching a breaking point.  Conservatives are being targeted for assassination (Kirk, Trump, Kavanaugh, Scalise) with Charlie’s murder being applauded and celebrated.  That is simply evil. Dems are in denial.  They have cognitive dissonance.  Stockholm Syndrome on steroids perhaps.

The both sides argument no longer flies.  It's dead.  Conservatives no longer will listen to it.  Anyone with common sense knows the violence is one-sided. Democrats promote that Conservative speech justifies violence.  They hate free speech and the Constitution. They are not the good guys.  It’s time for confession and leaving the party.
