Industrial Wind and Solar Energy Update
Dear Editor,
Wind and sunlight are renewable, but the machines and devices that convert the wind and sunlight into electrical energy for human consumption are not “renewable” or “green.” In fact, industrial wind turbines and fields of industrial solar panels on beautiful, productive farmland are the most environmentally damaging and harmful to public health and safety of any electric-generating technology.
The ranking of the cleanest and safest to the dirtiest and most harmful of the common electrical generation methods are hydro, nuclear, natural gas, oil, coal, solar panels, and in last place--the dirtiest and most harmful to the planet--wind turbines.
Many ill-informed people still think that we need wind turbines and solar panels to solve our energy needs. Industry and large data centers are not even considering wind and solar as a source of electricity because they need large amounts of reliable electricity around the clock. The amount of electricity produced by wind turbines and solar panels is insignificant, difficult to incorporate into the grid, and requires reliable back-up sources from natural gas, coal, or nuclear. These factors wipe out any net gains in electricity produced by overhyped, oversold wind and solar.
Southeast Asian (SEA) countries--Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, among others--are rapidly becoming manufacturing juggernauts, requiring large amounts of continuous, reliable, locally produced electrical energy. According to the Vijay Jayaraj’s article “The Developing World Embraces Coal” (American Thinker, 9/10/2025), “An astonishing 96% of that new demand was met by coal-fired plants” using highly efficient “ultra supercritical coal technology.” These SEA countries use only about 4.5% wind and solar. This exposes the “green, renewable” energy for the hoax that it is.
Here in the USA, we have been scammed into installing wind and solar power that is claimed to produce 8 to 10% of our energy needs. Are we going to attempt to build 10 times as much wind and solar we now have to get to the carbon-free, fossil-fuel-free environment by 2035, called for by a past president or even 2050 by our governor? Can you see how preposterous this is? Coal and gas plants being built by the Asian countries, China, and India will last for at least 40 years.
Will we in America put an end to this “green” wind and solar sham before we destroy our health, our environment, and our industrial and agricultural economy? There is no climate crisis. The climate has been fluctuating for millennia and cannot be controlled by human intervention. Anthropogenic CO2 is not causing climate change. CO2 is a nutrient used by plants that produce food and oxygen necessary for our human survival. The cretins who want to force society back into the Stone Age with industrial wind turbines and solar panels, destroying the earth in the process must be stopped.
President Trump passed three executive orders to begin a nuclear renaissance using the new small modular nuclear reactors, which are safe and can be placed locally in areas where needed while eliminating the large expensive, high-power transmission lines. Even our Wisconsin governor and legislators are now on board with this truly clean and green, reliable nuclear technology. There is hope!
