Husom, Judith Ann “Judy”



Judith Ann “Judy” Husom, age 84, of Dodgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green.

Judy was born on December 31, 1940 in Dodgeville, a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Nolen) Lease. She attended the one-room Weier School and graduated from Dodgeville High School.

On June 17, 1959, she married Roger W. Husom at Fort Rucker, Alabama, where Roger was serving 6 years in the U.S. Army. She was employed at Lands’ End for majority of her career. Judy loved reading, birdwatching, going for walks, cruising in her PT Cruiser, music and dancing. She had a fun loving, spunky attitude, a contagious smile and a joyful laugh. Her greatest joy was seeing her boys and extended family. She lived a life of gratitude, put others before herself. Judy will be missed.

Judy is survived by her four sons, Roger (Barb), Doug, Tim and Mike; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers Ronald (Ann) Lease and Bruce (Mary) Lease.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, her parents, her sisters Diane Lease Blumer, Mary Lou “Penny” Lease, Joyce “Pam” Faust, her brothers Edward “Butch” Lease and Gregory Lease.

Private Family services were held.

The family would like to thank the staff at Greenway Manor and Agrace Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Judy.
