Village lockdown ends peacefully with surrender, arrest

42-year-old Seth Jacob Venden of Highland, made his initial appearance Tuesday in Iowa County Court.  Venden appeared in person, in custody, without an attorney.  District Attorney Zachary Leigh in court for the State of Wisconsin.  

Venden is charged with several counts.  From the incident in Highland on September 2nd, he is charged with a felony I charge of making terrorist threats, and four misdemeanor charges, three for disorderly conduct, and using a computer to threaten/injury or harm, plus two use of a dangerous weapon as a modifier...
