History
Dear Editor,
The armed National Guard was deployed to Kent State University in May of 1970.
On May 4th of that year the Guard (with fear of high school and college age protesters ) chose to fire 67 shots into a group of 14-20 year olds. The result was four dead and nine wounded. Trump is older than that group of peaceful protesters and perhaps this is one of the facts of history that Stephen Miller and JD Vance wish to erase. Trump spoke of shooting BLM protesters in the leg . I fear another Kent State with masked ICE and untrained Guard deployed on Trump's ego.
Sincerely,
Robert W. Enloe, Dodgeville,WI
