Margaret M. (nee Mingione) D’Aurizio, age 74 of Manchester, NJ, formerly of Hawthorne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Born in Paterson, Margaret grew up in Hawthorne, where she attended St. Anthony’s School and graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1969. A former administrative assistant with AT&T in Bridgewater, Margaret was a member of the Phone Pioneers of America. Margaret had also been a member and the past national president of the Cosmopolitan Associates. Margaret loved baseball and was a self-described huge Yankees fan.
Margaret M. D’Aurizio was the beloved wife of the late Albert D’Aurizio (2016). Dear daughter of the late Louis (2000) and Ellen (2022) (nee Preger) Mingione. Loving sister of Kathryn Vanone and her husband Ronald of Manchester, NJ, Daniel Mingione and his wife Dianne of Dodgeville, WI, and Mary Dube of Hawthorne, NJ. Loving aunt of Robert Vanone and his wife Justine, Valerie Vanone, Louis Mingione and his wife Kathryn, Anthony Mingione, Sarah Mingione, Christina Dube, Daniel Dube, Albert John D’Aurizio and his wife Janine, Darren Reilly and his wife Michele, Shelly Reilly Roh, Ryan Reilly and his wife Laura, Kelly Keene and her husband Brett, Amy Berg and her husband Nick. Great Aunt of Freddie Mingione, Sal Mingione, Georgie Mingione, Lucas Hill-Dube, Vera Vanone, Antonio D’Aurizio, Amelia D’Aurizio, Danielle Roh, Grant Roh, Emma Berg, Reilly Berg, Sean Reilly, McKenna Reilly, Addison Reilly, Gavin Reilly, Liam Reilly, Quentin Keene, Jade Keene, and Taylor Keene. She is also survived by many dear cousins and friends.
Funeral will be departing at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 9:30 a.m. funeral mass at St. Anne’s R.C. Church, Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday morning, prior to Mass from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
