Tibbits, Wren Idalia

Surrounded by endless love, our beautiful angel girl, Wren Idalia Tibbits, took her final breath at home, in her mother's arms, held close by her father, her brother, and the many people who loved her so deeply.

Born with a courageous heart and a soul that seemed to hold the wisdom of the stars, Wren filled her 501 days on this earth with immeasurable love, light, and grace. 

Though her life began with impossible odds — born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and given just a 10% chance to survive she proved that miracles are not measured in years, but in the depth of love they inspire. Through every trial, she radiated calm, kindness, and a quiet strength that inspired all who loved her.

Wren was a gentle, calm, and loving girl. Wren was a girl who shined brightest in hues of pink, lavender, and emerald, always adorned with a bow in her dark, perfectly curled black hair. Her wardrobe reflected her mother's tender touch and her family's deep joy in celebrating every moment of her life.

There was a kindness in her eyes that spoke louder than words ever could- 

a peacefulness that anchored her family through even the stormiest days. She loved deeply and quietly, her gaze always finding her family, giving her family the most loving, knowing looks as if reminding them, "I know how loved I am."

Through countless hospital stays and multiple open-heart surgeries, Wren showed us what true strength looks like. She was the embodiment of resilience, bravery, and purity  teaching everyone who met her that even in pain, love can prevail. Her life offered perspective to so many- parents learning to hold their children a little closer, strangers learning to see life with gentler eyes, the community to simply just love harder. She changed people. She softened the world and forever left an impact on everyone around her. 

Though her time here was brief, the impact she left will echo for lifetimes. Wren taught us that every heartbeat, every sunrise, every tiny moment of connection is sacred. Her story will forever remind us to love harder, live slower, and be grateful for the beauty found even in heartbreak.

She was, and will forever be, all that is pure. A literal angel, sent to remind us that even the smallest souls can leave the largest imprints.

Wren Idalia will forever be cherished by her devoted parents, Todd and Jasmine, her loving brother Paxton, and the many family members, friends, nurses, and doctors at AFCH PICU who witnessed her courage and grace.

Her story is one of resilience, love, and light—a testament that even the briefest life can illuminate the world in the most profound ways.

We are so proud of her and will miss her so dearly. Her life will always hold so much purpose, and so much beauty. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18. 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Ss. Mary & Paul Catholic Church in Mineral Point.  Fr Alex Carmel will officiate.  A Celebration of Wren's Life will follow at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point.
