35th Annual Harvest Festival at Spurgeon Winery this weekend
As fall foliage hits its peak, Spurgeon Winery invites the public to celebrate the season at its 35th Annual Harvest Festival, hosted by owners Glen and Mary Spurgeon and assistant winemaker Marc Gratz with his wife Hillary. The festival will be held Friday, October 10 from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no admission fee, and parking is free.
The event includes discounted wine tasting, glasses of wine, wine slushes, and beer, along with grilled food and live music under a large tent. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, though seating is available.
New this year is Friday night’s family-friendly movie and campfire event, featuring popcorn, hotdogs, cotton candy, hot cider, and s’mores. Attendees are advised to dress warmly and bring lawn chairs....
