Tricia Mary Ploessl, age 45 of Ridgeway, WI passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2025. She was surrounded by love, with prayers whispered over her and hands holding hers. In her final act of generosity, Tricia gave the gift of life through organ donation.
Tricia was born on December 13, 1979, to Rod and Sheila Breuer. She graduated from Cassville High School in 1998 and went on to obtain a degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University. Tricia began her career working at Kids Express Learning Center in Madison. While there, Tricia met the Watson family who she nannied for while raising her young family. In 2012 Tricia attended Southwest Tech to obtain her nursing degree where she pursued her passion for caring for others. Tricia devoted her career to serving patients with compassion and skill, most recently as a dedicated nurse at Central Wisconsin Center. Her colleagues remember her as steady, gentle, and unwavering in her commitment to those she cared for.
Tricia was a kind, thoughtful, selfless and hardworking wife and mother of three. She loved the ocean and white sand beaches, always looking forward to their family's yearly vacation to Florida. She was a lover of all animals including her chickens, cats, and dog. Tricia was an amazing mother, helping her daughters navigate life with grace and wisdom.
Tricia is survived by the love of her life, Todd Ploessl who she married on August 9, 2003. Together they built a beautiful life and have three beautiful daughters: Brynn, Brielle and Myiah. She is also survived by her parents Rod and Sheila Breuer; sister Erica Schauff; in-laws Gary and Vickie Yunk; brother-in-law Travis (Stacey Kirschbaum) Ploessl; sisters-in-law Tracy (Bob) Kubitz and Kerri (Travis) Shefelbine, nieces, nephews & extended family members, and friends & animals who loved her dearly.
A visitation will be held for Tricia on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1234 S Madison St., Lancaster. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the visitation. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a college fund for her beloved daughters.
