Linda Lueck, age 83 of Dodgeville, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 21, 1942, in Coloma, WI to Arthur and Freda (Thurber) Boy.
She was a strong and independent woman who loved the simple joys of life — feeding the birds, squirrels, and bunnies that visited her yard, tending to her flower gardens, quilting beautiful pieces, and caring for her cats. She had a quiet faith and a private nature but cared deeply for those closest to her.
She will be remembered for her love of nature, her creativity, and the unique way she touched the lives around her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Lueck, and 4 siblings.
Linda is survived by her children Holly (Dave) Lueck-Martin, Curtis Lueck, Scott Lueck; grandchildren: Jeremy (Tonya), Zach (Katie), Melody (Connor), and Hunter; great-grandchildren: MaKayla, Remy, and Harper; a sister; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.houckfuneralhomes.com
The family extends their gratitude to Linda's amazing neighbors Maureen Tuebert, and Pete and Nancy Tews, for their compassionate care and aid of Linda and her family over the last few years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to your local Humane Society are greatly appreciated.
