Family Advocates is dedicated to eliminating abuse in Iowa, Grant, and Lafayette Counties. They provide prevention and intervention services to victims and survivors of domestic, child, elder and sexual abuse. They have offices in Dodgeville for Iowa County, Platteville for Grant County, and Lafayette County by appointment. Family Advocates does not discriminate when providing services on the basis of religion, color, race, national origin, age, sex, disability, arrest or conviction record. There is also no discrimination for sexual identity or orientation, or marital status, and if in the military or reserve.

Family Advocates will support your decisions to stay or to leave, report to law enforcement, or not report, that is your decision. They will help victims identify resources and help create secure safety plans for the path that a person decides to take now or in the future...
