Christopher L. Frame, 52, of Burnett, Wisconsin passed away at his home on Monday, March 10, 2025 due to health complications.
Christopher was born on July 26, 1972 the son of Donald and Barbara (Anstice) Frame in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. He was a 1990 graduate of Dodgeville High School. On June 30, 2001, Chris was united in marriage with the love of his life Anne M. Kieslich in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Chris dedicated much of his life to Scag Power Equipment, a division of Metalcraft of Mayville; retiring as President of Scag in 2022 due to health reasons. His leadership and expertise left a lasting impact on those he worked with, many who became lifelong friends. Chris had an easy going way; he had an amazing way of connecting to others and was always willing to lend a hand. He did this not for personal gain, but because he genuinely cared for others. His ready smile and infectious laugh will long be remembered.
Outside of work, Chris found joy in the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed turkey hunting on his land outside of Dodgeville with his friends and colleagues. Fishing trips and pheasant hunting with friends was something that he looked forward to every year because he was doing what he enjoyed with people who he felt were like his family. He left his legacy by planting more than 10,000 trees on his land. Never one to sit still, Chris was always working on a project; his hands were rarely idle and his mind focused whether it was a home project or working on his cars.
Above all, Chris was a loving husband to Anne and a devoted father to William. His greatest pride and joy was his family. Chris created a home – inside and out. He remodeled the kitchen, built an outdoor playhouse, and installed a 200 ft zipline in the backyard for William.
Chris will be deeply missed by his wife Anne and his son William; father Don (Sherrie) Frame; mother-in-law Joyce Kieslich-Widder; sisters-in-law: Marcia Kieslich, Jan (Terry) Janes, Jill Kieslich, Mary Beth (Jim) Burke and Debbie Kieslich; nieces and nephews: Sarah, Sophie, and Brenna Burke; Britta and Stina Rhude; Caleb and Jonah Shuda and Macie Janes. He is further survived by other relatives and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Frame, fathers-in-law Paul Kieslich and Jim Widder.
A memorial gathering for Chris was held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Church United Methodist, 308 Oneida Street, Beaver Dam. A Celebration of Life for Chris began at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Eric Taylor officiating.
