Dodger Ava Lord part of All-Star game

Ava Lord took the field Tuesday, June 17 at the 2025 Wisconsin All-Star Softball Games, held in Wisconsin Dells, and made the most of the opportunity with a strong all-around showing.

The event brings together some of the top senior softball players from around the state. This year, more than 800 seniors were nominated by 413 high schools across Wisconsin, and 200 were selected to participate. Players are grouped into teams by their school’s division—Division 1, Divisions 2/3, and Divisions 4/5.

Lord contributed on both sides of the ball, pitching, playing third base, and driving in one of her team’s two runs during the first game. It was a solid finish to a high school career, and a chance to play among many of Wisconsin’s best.

The Wisconsin All-Star Games not only highlight top softball talent but also support a good cause, making it a meaningful event for athletes, schools, and fans alike.
