Kroll, Kevin A.

Kevin A. Kroll, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1957, in Dodgeville, the son of Earl and Virginia (Rasque) Kroll.

Kevin graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1975. Kevin loved farming since being a little boy. He dedicated his life to the farm and took great pride in joining the family operation in the mid 1980’s. Through the years, Kevin was involved with dairy, beef, and hogs, and eventually became owner of three farms in the Linden Township. As the years passed, he became primarily a cash crop farming operation. 

Kevin enjoyed going for car rides in his 1968 Pontiac Firebird, riding motorcycles, and going gambling. Attending rock concerts with his brother was always a great time. If you saw Kevin, you probably saw his good buddy Clyde, his dog, he went everywhere with him. He will be remembered for his friendly and outgoing personality along his passion for farming. 

Kevin is survived by his four siblings, Cheryl Kroll of Madison, Randy Kroll and special friend Roxanne Moermond, Dixie Kroll of Dallas, TX, and Kurt (Rhoda) Kroll of Dodgeville, nephew Mitch (Jessica) Kroll of Hollandale and their children Maci, Jordy, and Jett, along with his best friend Tony Wiegel, and the one always there in a time of need, John Aschliman.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no formal memorial service held in Kevin’s honor. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort, with a private family burial to take place in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Montfort. In lieu of plants, flowers, and other gifts, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Kevin A. Kroll.
