Barneveld School Board hears many reports

In reports, Principal Heather Schmitz shared Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) data showing growth in all areas in K – 3rd graders in math and reading.  She also mentioned that student Sydney Hooks is the local spelling bee winner as she is one of the top three spellers who advanced from regionals and will compete at the State Spelling Bee on March 29th. Schmitz also gave a shout-out to all the volunteers who help during lunch and small group settings, those volunteers putting in 5-10 hours every week.  

Dean of Students Melanie Norton reported another successful training session with Sources of Strength Students which included six new members......
