Showing Up Matters

Dear Editor,

The current Mineral Point Town Board petitioned for a recall election, costing taxpayers unnecessary dollars, yet they fail to consistently attend meetings, come prepared, or conduct town business efficiently.  Their lack of preparation has led to costly special meetings—wasting more of your hard-earned money.

Instead of serving the community, they remain fixated on an energy issue that isn’t even within their authority, further dividing and alienating residents. Mineral Point deserves better leadership—leaders who are committed, responsible, and fiscally mindful.

On April 1, 2025, vote for real leadership.  Elect Cy Heisner for Chair, Hollie Rickey for Supervisor (Hollieformp.com), and Carly Cody for Supervisor—candidates who are prepared to serve, act responsibly, and respect your tax dollars.

Vote for accountability.  Vote for unity.  Vote for the future of the Town of Mineral Point.
