Hildreth, Barbara Jo

Barbara Jo Hildreth, age 62, of Dodgeville, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Agrace Hospice Center in Fitchburg after a long hard-fought battle with COPD.

Born on February 15, 1962, in Dodgeville, WI, to her wonderful parents George and Joan Hildreth. She spent most of her childhood residing in Mineral Point, Wisconsin and then chose to raise her kids in Dodgeville as Dodgeville Dodgers. On October 20, 2018 she was united in Marriage to her loving husband Timothy J Mumm of Cassville Wisconsin.

Barb worked as a Senior Customer Service Rep for Sedgwick claims from her home office. She was also very passionate about Caregiving, so she spent most of her adult life as a CNA as well. She was always up for a good time and would rarely lose a game of euchre. Weeknights she could be found challenging her kids at the game of Wheel of Fortune or watching the Game Show Network. Her greatest passion in life was surrounding herself with her children, grandchildren and the rest of her large family. If you do ever find yourself at a blackjack table and thinking about Barb, remember she will tell you to hit on 16’s and walk away if someone at the table doesn’t know the rules.

Barb is survived by her husband Timothy J. Mumm; (Dodgeville) her children Jeff (Tanya) Eastman (Dodgeville), Jodi (Jay) Fingerson (Dodgeville), Joshua (John) Jenkins (Houston Texas), Derik Cree; (Dodgeville)her step-children Torin (Ally) Mumm (Cassville), Tamara (Kyle) Thorsen (Platteville), Mahcoy Mumm (Platteville); her pride and joy grandchildren Brantley, Chloe & Charlee Eastman, Elsie & Josie Fingerson, Kennedy & Kooper Jenkins, Natalie Burgess & Mia Cree, Dominic, Holly & Kari Thorsen, Lilith Mumm; her brothers George, Jr. (Roberta) Hildreth, Rodney (Donata) Hildreth, Michael (Beth) Hildreth; her sisters-in-law Linda Hildreth, Deb (John) Mumm; her mother-in-law Patricia Mumm; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Joan Hildreth, her brothers Keith and Paul Hildreth, her grandson Derik Joseph Cree and granddaughter Natalie Jo Mumm.

Barb requested no formal services but her family appreciates all the love and support that is pouring in. She never met a stranger and was loved by many.
