Politics of courage demanded

Dear Editor,

We the people of the United States demand "Politics of Courage". Courage from our legislative and judicial branches to stand up against the corruption and chaos of the Donald Trump Executive Branch. Donald Trump's approval ratings are plummeting as people begin to realize all that is wrong with the administration. He has done so many unconstitutional, illegal and immoral actions that sometimes we wonder, what will he come up with next?

It is impossible to list all that is wrong with the executive branch but to name a few...

-Using his position to further his family business and that of his millionaire/billionaire friends. Conflict of interest in his dealings to help promote family and friends.

-Bombing boats in the Caribbean and Pacific by being judge, jury and executioner. Seizing an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela.

-Posting things that are inappropriate on social media, showing that he is declining rapidly in his mental capabilities. The rantings are beyond what is considered "normal".

 -Being extremely disrespectful to women reporters including calling them names. Limiting access to him by many news outlets unless they bow to him. Freedom of press being suppressed.

-Calling the Governor of Minnesota a "re*ard" and groups of people "garbage" - we try to teach our children better, yet it ok for the President to use derogatory language?

-Allowing the ICE gestapo to continue to terrorize people across the country. Paying them an outrageous salary, along with bonuses and benefits.

-Still trying to distract from releasing the Epstein files, as now required by LAW. Those files must be released and examined.

-Destroying the East Wing of the White House without any type of authorization.

-Using intimation and threats to people who will not agree with him (Indiana Senate is just one example).

We wake up each morning, cringing to see what will happen next. Afraid for our country and the world as a person who is obviously unstable has too much power. As more and more court decisions are coming down against Donald Trump, we want the Congress to take back their power to control the government using checks and balances as it was intended by the US Constitution. Many court decisions are showing that what Donald Trump is doing is illegal and/or unconstitutional. The Congress must be willing to step up. Reach across the aisle as was done for the Epstein Files Transparency Act and work for the American people. Donald Trump and his entire incompetent cabinet must be removed from office. They also need to be held accountable for all their wrongdoings.
