Nadler (Meuer), Victoria “Vicky” Lucille

Dodgeville – Victoria “Vicky” Lucille Nadler (Meuer), age 78, of Dodgeville, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by family.  

 Vicky was born on April 5, 1947, daughter of Norbert and Ethel Meuer of Dodgeville, WI. She attended Dodgeville High School. In 1974, she met her husband, Merlin Nadler. Together they ran the A&W, hiring numerous Dodgeville area teens. In 1982, Merl and Vicky added to their A&W family with the birth of their daughter, Christy Ann Nadler.  

Vicky loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren Emily and Colton. She loved traveling with her friends, husband, and daughter. Together, they traveled to all parts of the United States during the winter months when A&W was closed. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and attending a variety of sporting events, cheering on the Badgers and most recently, the Oregon Panthers, watching her grandchildren. Vicky’s faith was important to her. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dodgeville and was an active member of St. John’s Union Mills.   

 Vicky is survived by her daughter Christy (Mike) Schwartz; her grandchildren Emily and Colton Schwartz; her siblings Don (Carol) Meuer, Billy (Lois) Meuer, June (Jim) Paynter, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Merlin Nadler, siblings: James, Norbert Jr and Jo Anne Meuer, and Joanne and Richard Hugill. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at ST. JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass on Thursday at the church.  Private family burial will held in Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Union Mills or Dodgeville Area Scholarship Foundation.
